Killing David seemed like the only way Joan could ever be with Jeff in a real relationship, so she pressured her 15-year-old daughter to murder her stepfather. It wasn’t long before investigators discovered a tangled tale of sex clubs, manipulation, and lies.

When Brent found out in 1998, he asked Renee to stop seeing the other men. Instead, Brent was gunned down on his wedding anniversary.
