Television pioneer Moses Znaimer, Founder and CEO of ZoomerMedia Limited (TSXV: ZUM) has announced that two over-the-air stations Joytv10 (Surrey, Fraser Valley and Vancouver) and Joytv11 (Winnipeg) will start to receive national distribution on Bell Satellite TV starting November 29, 2012.

The new distribution means approximately 2 million additional homes across Canada will receive the family-friendly, culturally diverse television service.

Joytv10 (CHNU) will be available on Bell Satellite TV channel 656, and Joytv11 (CIIT) will be available on Bell Satellite TV channel 591.

Joytv offers the best in classic comedies from “Girl Power” shows like 5-time Emmy Award-winner I Love Lucy and the trailblazing Mary Tyler Moore Show to legendary “Funny Men” like Jack Klugman and Tony Randall in The Odd Couple and comedic genius Bob Newhart as Chicago psychologist Dr. Robert “Bob” Hartley.

Viewers can also catch award-winning American and Canadian dramas including Heartland, Hart of Dixie, and Aaron Spelling’s 7th Heaven, the longest-running family drama in television history. The 27-time Emmy Award-winning The Simpsons, “the 20th century’s best television series – Time”, also remains a viewer favourite.

Weekends on Joytv feature programming that explore the world’s faiths and spiritual traditions including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism.
