The entertainment technology company that puts audiences in the movies – IMAX – is bringing its inspiring original films to your TV screen, courtesy of cutting-edge independent programmer High Fidelity HDTV.

High Fidelity HDTV, which first brought the giant-screen experience to your living room in HD, has landed the exclusive HD rights to 20 original IMAX films, which will begin airing in December. These include The Secret Of Life On Earth on Oasis HD, a brilliantly-executed blend of micro, macro and time-lapse photography that opens up the ecosystem like never before; the blazing Fires Of Kuwait on Equator HD, an inferno-eye-view of the 600 sabotaged Kuwaiti oil wells that needed to be capped after the first Gulf War; Rush HD¹s Hail Columbia, a crystal-clear memoire of the first space shuttle; and on Treasure HD, IMAX¹s grand interpretation of The Nutcracker.

Other acclaimed, eye-popping IMAX Originals titles scheduled on High Fidelity HDTV¹s suite of channels include T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous, Space Station, Into the Deep, Destiny in Space, China: The Panda Adventure, Blue Planet, Ozarks: Legacy and Legend, Heartland, L5: First City in Space, The Last Buffalo, Skyward, The Dream is Alive, Mission to Mir, Galapagos, Survival Island and Mountain Gorilla.
