Corus Got 46 Geminie Nominations

Corus Entertainment received a total of 46 Gemini nominations from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television’s 24th annual Gemini Awards. Movie Central’s drama series received 18 nominations for The Line, Sanctuary, Stargate Atlantis and ZOS: Zone of Separation. Programming on Corus’ kids networks – YTV, Treehouse and Discovery Kids were recognized with 24 nods, nine of which were for Corus’ Nelvana Studio. Four nominations for programming on W Network and CMT round out the total.

The nominations were announced today by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. Celebrating excellence in Canadian English-language television, the 24th Annual Gemini Awards will be presented on November 14, 2009, in Calgary.
