– Alliance Atlantis Broadcast Group has created a new in-house Advertising & Partnership Marketing Group. The creation of this new group will provide the company with a team of professionals dedicated exclusively to all partnership marketing initiatives – including media planning and buying – for its networks, yielding new opportunities, creative ideas and approaches.
“Strategic partnerships – including our partnerships with other media organizations – are an integral component of the brand building efforts for our 12 analog and digital channels,” says Walter Levitt, Vice President Marketing, Alliance Atlantis Broadcast Group. “By combining this function with our existing in-house Marketing and Creative Services teams, we believe that we will deliver world-class, award-winning campaigns that will resonate with viewers and drive brand awareness, subscriptions and tune-in.”
Heading up the new group is Jim Johnson, who will assume the role of Director, Advertising and Partnership Marketing for all 12 networks. Johnson has been with the Alliance Atlantis Broadcast Group since 1994. Prior to this role, Johnson was Director of Marketing responsible for Alliance Atlantis’ Lifestyle Networks (HGTV, Food Network Canada, Life Network and Discovery Health Channel). Prior to CTV, Moran was a Media Buyer at Initiative Media and BBDO.
