Med Students is a half-hour documentary series that takes audiences to the world-renowned McMaster University Medical School, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the real life challenges faced by medical students and residents on their journey to becoming doctors. For these students the 'classroom' is the hospital floor and their lessons are learned in the operating theatres and emergency rooms where they deal with real-life patients and real-life traumas.
The Surgeons III (Broadcast Premiere)
Weekdays at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT beginning November 1
Each new episode in season three of this Gemini-nominated series profiles a doctor performing specialized surgery such as robotic cardiac surgery, deep brain stimulation, bone reconstruction surgery and neonatal surgery. Cameras follow surgeons from across Canada around the hospital, through patient consultations and into the O.R. to capture the intense challenges, personal triumphs and inspirational stories of these medical miracle
workers.
