Highlights for the 2002-2003 season.

The John Walsh Show
John Walsh – host of Americas Most Wanted and one of Americas most trusted figures – hosts a daily talk show that deals with topical and social issues that matter. His endless quest for justice as a victims rights and missing childrens advocate has made him a reluctant hero. John’s new one-hour program brings viewers a show that addresses their concerns about the world today from someone they can put their faith in.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
A new, first-run, half-hour version of the Emmy Award-winning game show phenomenon. Hosted by The View’s Meredith Viera, the half-hour uses the original format and, like the original, is taped before a New York studio audience. Ten finalists compete to win a chance in the Hot Seat, where they attempt to navigate multiple-choice questions of increasing difficulty toward the ultimate $1 million prize.

Spin City
The Deputy Mayor of New York City along with his quirky staff are constantly putting the spin on Mayor Randall Winston’s latest political gaffe. Usually a man who is calm and organized, he can “spin” out of control when it comes to his personal life.

National Geographic
Takes viewers into uncharted territory with compelling stories and stunning visuals – and with the accuracy and world-class quality people have come to expect from National Geographic. From the furthest corners of the Antarctica to the blistering suns of the Sahara, the series takes viewers as close as they can get and as far as they can go.

Movies Worth Watching
Popular films become popular for a specific reason. Jacques Benoit, host of Movies Worth Watching, takes viewers into the world of popular culture as it applies to movies of all genres. Films include The Matrix, The Green Mile, Snake Eyes, and You’ve Got Mail.

Help TV
Daily, live interactive series designed to help viewers through various topics covered each week. Connects viewers with the information, expertise, and resources they need. Features trained professionals ready to answer questions by telephone, e-mail, fax or mail.

Careers TV
Careers TV is an entertaining and informative guide to learning, jobs and futures. Reporters and videographers travel the country to uncover interesting business opportunities, unique careers, hot trends, and innovative ideas. Each weekly half-hour episode provides critical information on what’s new in the world of work and business by interviewing the countries leading-edge experts and innovators.

New Detectives
Probes the methods of modern day forensic medicine and the scientific detectives who use them to solve difficult and long-standing mysteries. Including segments on the procedures of DNA mapping, skeletal analysis, and chemical toxicology, series shows how experts use these techniques to unravel everything from historical battles to insurance claims, and even bring conclusions to crimes once thought unsolvable.

FBI Files
Takes viewers behind-the-scenes of major crime investigations and enters what until now has been the world’s least accessible crime lab. Each hour-long episode tracks a single case. Agents and scientists recount their forensic detective work and detail the sophisticated field and lab test they used to build a case for prosecutors.

Family Dance
A continuing series about women and their families – the changes that pull them apart and the bonds that keep them together. As the series unfolds, each story develops into a portrait of the evolving relationships between different generations and tells the stories behind the dramatic choices and changes families make, and the humour and strength it takes to get through it all.
