CP24′s Breaking Storm Coverage Sees Audience Spike 191% CP24’s BREAKING NEWS COVERAGE of the lightning storm in Toronto attracted more than 1.7 million unique viewers between the hours of 6 – 11 p.m., 191% higher than the average summer audience. According to BBM Canada Preliminary Overnight Data, CP24 was watched on average by 291,000 viewers during the peak of the storm, between 9:30 – 10 p.m. CP24’s storm coverage made it the most-watched channel – specialty or otherwise – in the Toronto market last thursday, with a total reach of 2.5 million viewers, up 69% compared to the summer average. |
