Shaw Media is celebrating a night of big wins across Global and its slate of specialty services. Global’s Hotel Hell, featuring Gordon Ramsay, won Monday night with 1.6 million viewers (2+, national). HGTV Canada and HISTORY, whose fall schedules launched this week, took the top two spots (A25-54) across all non-sport specialty channels. All in over 16 million Canadians tuned in last night to Shaw Media networks.   Read More

The many talents and mercurial temper of superstar Chef Gordon Ramsay vaulted Global well ahead of the competition for the Monday night premiere of Hotel Hell. Its stellar debut won the night nationally, capturing 1.4 million viewers (Ind. 2+, National) and over 700,000 viewers (A18-49, National). Plus, the hotel makeover program won its timeslot in the key A18-49 demographic for the Toronto and Vancouver markets.

Viewers who missed this week’s episodes of Hotel Hell can catch up on GlobalTV.com or on their Global Video App, available from the App Store on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, or on demand through cable and satellite providers across the country.

Chef Ramsay takes on his next “client” with Hotel Hell’s third episode, Monday, August 20 – 8pm ET/PT.
