After being saved from eviction only two weeks ago in a surprise twist that shocked the house, loveable Vancouverite Suzette Amaya was evicted on Thursday night from the Big Brother Canada house in a vote of six to one.
“I feel relieved, empowered and excited to have made it this far,” said Suzette Amaya. “I really appreciate the support from Canada that gave me more time in the house, and now I am ready to be back in the real world and to see my family!”
Suzette was nominated for eviction alongside AJ Burman this week by Head of Household (HOH) Alec Beall. With the Power of Veto going to Emmett Blois, who chose not to use his power, Suzette and AJ remained at risk of eviction.
Following Suzette’s exit from the house, the houseguests were immediately challenged to an HOH trivia competition called Before or After where they were required to recall the order of specific events that have taken place since they entered the house. Topaz Brady and Talla Rejaie were the last two standing with Topaz coming out on top and winning the title of HOH.
