HIFI is bringing the brand new, current season of Britain’s favourite primetime comedy talk show, The Graham Norton Show, to Canadian television audiences this fall. For the first time, new episodes will air in Canada just days after they premiere to UK television audiences. With a glass of white wine in hand and a raft of celebrities in front of him, Graham routinely hosts evenings of sparkling A-list conversation with the biggest movie stars, comedians and pop stars in the world. The first episode will see Canadian Ryan Gosling, as well as Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, Jodie Whittaker and Rod Stewart chatting together with Graham. The following week, Graham will host Rowan Atkinson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Gary Barlow, Jeff Goldblum and Imelda May. The Graham Norton Show will premiere in Canada on HIFI on Saturday, October 6 at 9 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT. The new episodes will repeat on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT. Additionally, beginning on Monday, November 5, HIFI will offer an eight-week free preview giving TV audiences across Canada the opportunity to sample the new season of The Graham Norton Show.
“For the first time ever in Canada, HIFI will be airing new episodes of UK talk show sensation Graham Norton within days after they air in the UK,” said Jamie Schouela, President, Canadian Media, Blue Ant Media. “We’re thrilled to be bringing fans his signature tongue-in-cheek humour and celebrity guest appearances as they make news.”
Graham Norton’s ability to elicit his guests’ funniest stories and craziest anecdotes has made him one of the most popular and successful talk show hosts on the planet. For more than 20 years, the show has been appointment-to-view television in the UK and now Canadians will have the chance to see up-to-date episodes only a week after they debut to the UK audience. HIFI also broadcasts previously aired episodes of The Graham Norton Show weekdays at 7 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT
