The Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s Fab Five have made over Jay Leno, made an appearance on the MTV video awards, and made the biggest numbers their U.S. broadcaster has ever scored, and now their series is coming to Canada on Bravo!. Viewers can see the entire series of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy every Saturday night at 11:45pm ET, right after Sex and the City, beginning October 4.
“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is the first feel-good primetime reality series: There are no hurt feelings, everybody has lots of laughs and the ‘victim’ walks away with a few handy pointers,” says Phil Gallo in his review of the program for Variety Magazine.
Each week the Fab Five, an elite team of gay style gurus, makes it their mission to transform an average Joe into a freshly scrubbed, newly enlightened and ultra-hip man. The queer eye sees all — sweatpants are banished, backs are waxed and apartments are sterilized as the men reinvent the lives of befuddled but amiable heteros. Fashion, food and wine, interior design, grooming and culture — the Fab Five has a man to aid with every style deficiency.
Already making a splash south of the border, get set for the wave to hit Canada!
