YTV will add Erky Perky, Ruby Gloom, Malcolm in the Middle, The Far Out Adventures of Team Galaxy and Bleach.

ERKY PERKY
Animation
Erky Perky is a comedy series about two bugs, Erky and Perky, who live an idyllic life on a downtown hot dog stand – a cornucopia of crumbs, relish and wieners. They live the high life until one day they are swept away in a take-out bag and end up in a sterile suburban kitchen with no food in site. The two bickering, dimwitted and lazy bugs are forced to survive in the new and scary Land of Kitchen. Everyday they are obsessed with finding food, finding the “Great White Refrigerator” and ultimately finding their way home to the Land of Hot Dog Stand.

Airs Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m. beginning September 7.

Produced by CCI Entertainment in association with YTV
Country of origin: Canada
13 X 30 minutes

RUBY GLOOM
Animation
In a Victorian mansion on the outskirts of Gloomsville lives Ruby Gloom. Some kids might be afraid of the dark, the eccentric neighbours and the unknown things that dwell in the closet, but Ruby is different – she befriends these strange and sometimes scary creatures. In fact, Ruby finds them all delightful. An ironic comedy, Ruby Gloom accentuates the importance of friendship and acceptance. Ruby pays no attention to unusual appearances, perceptive only to others hearts and souls. Ruby’s perfect day is a gloomy one, full of creativity and adventure with her offbeat circle of friends, and as Ruby likes to point out “Always look on the bright side – unless of course the dark side is your bright side and that’s ok too!

Airs Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m. beginning October 15.

Produced by Nelvana in association with YTV
Country of origin: Canada
26 X 30 minutes

MALCOM IN THE MIDDLE
Live-Action

After a successful run on conventional television, gaining popularity with audiences young and old, Malcolm in the Middle comes to YTV. This comical sitcom is seen through the eyes of Malcolm (Frankie Muniz), a high school kid trying to navigate his way through life despite the various obstacles – a complete misunderstanding of girls, the constant burden of masterminding plans to get himself and his brothers into or out of trouble, and not to mention a severe case of teenage angst.

Airs Monday through Thursday at 8 p.m. and midnight beginning September 4.

Produced by Regency Television productions
Country of origin: U.S.A.
151 x 30 minutes

THE FAR OUT ADVENTURES OF TEAM GALAXY
Animation

The Far Out Adventures of Team Galaxy tells the story of three friends: Josh, Yoko (voiced by Kathy Griffin) and Brett (voiced by Tabitha St. Germain) who have been chosen to attend Galaxy High, the coolest high school on earth, where they train to become space marshals. Throughout their adventures, the heroes of Team Galaxy have to multi-task between the tribulations of their teen lives and the excitement of cool space adventures where they will face the craziest alien villains ever seen.

Airs Mondays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. beginning September 9.
