TSN Announces Its 90-Game 2014 MLS Regular Season Broadcast Schedule
As the home of soccer and the official broadcaster ofÂ Major League Soccer (MLS)Â in Canada, TSN today announced its 90-game national broadcast package that includes 65 games featuring at least one Canadian team â€“Â Montreal Impact,Â Toronto FC, orÂ Vancouver Whitecaps FCÂ (see attached or visitÂ TSN.caÂ for a complete schedule).
New this season, TSN is set to deliver unprecedented access to Whitecaps FC as the network becomes the exclusive home of the team.
In total, TSNâ€™s 90-game regular season broadcast schedule features:
- All 34 Whitecaps FC matches
- 23 TFC matches
- 12 Impact matches
- 25 matches featuring U.S.-based teams
The networkâ€™s national broadcast package is complemented by exclusive Canadian coverage of the MLS CUP Playoffs, MLS CUP 2014, and the 2014 AT&T MLS ALL-STAR GAME from JELD-WEN Field in Portland, Ore.
MLS ON TSNâ€™s coverage is led by acclaimed commentatorsÂ Luke Wileman,Â Jason deVos, andÂ Kristian Jack. Also handling MLS ON TSN broadcasting duties this season areÂ Vic Rauter,Â Nigel Reed, andÂ Greg Sutton.

MLS ON TSN kicks offÂ Saturday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. ETÂ with Whitecaps FCâ€™s home opener at BC Place vs. New York Red Bulls.
Fans can watch the MLS debut of former Tottenham Hotspur F.C. striker Jermain Defoe live on TSN during TFCâ€™s season opener against Seattle Sounders FC onÂ Saturday, March 15Â atÂ 4:30 p.m. ET. The following week,Â TSN captures Defoeâ€™s first game at BMO Field in Toronto during TFCâ€™s home opener vs.Â D.C. United onÂ Saturday, March 22Â atÂ 4:30 p.m. ET.

As the official French-language broadcaster of MLS in Canada, RDS will broadcast more than 30 games, highlighted by 13 matches featuring Montreal Impact â€“ including the teamâ€™s home opener vs. Seattle Sounders FC at Olympic Stadium onSaturday, March 22Â atÂ 4:30 p.m. ET.
Once again, RDSâ€™s MLS coverage will be led by play-by-play commentators Claudine Douville and Jean Gounelle, hosts Michel Y. Lacroix and FranĂ§ois-Etienne Corbin, plus analystÂ Patrick Leduc.
Soccer on Bell Media
Along with TSN and RDS being the official broadcasters of MLS in Canada, Bell Mediaâ€™s CTV, TSN, and RDS are home to EURO 2016 and the FIFA World Cup, beginning with the highly-anticipated FIFA Womenâ€™s World Cup 2015 in Canada and including the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russiaâ„˘ and 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatarâ„˘. TSN also holds a multi-year broadcast agreement with BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE that gives TSN the Canadian media rights to half of all games through to the 2015-2016 season.
