NHL Playoffs Audiences on TSN Increase By 41%

New Jersey-Florida’s Game 7 double overtime thriller wrapped up a momentous opening round of the NHL playoffs on TSN. According to the latest data from BBM Canada, the average audiences for the opening round NHL playoffs on TSN (927,000 over 21 games) were 41% higher than last season.

Overall, more than 14 million Canadians – or approximately 42% of all Canadians – have tuned in to watch some or all of the 2012 STANLEYCUP PLAYOFFS on TSN.

TSN’s ongoing NHL playoff coverage continues with complete live coverage of both Western Conference Semifinal series – Phoenix-Nashville and St. Louis-Los Angeles.

TSN’s coverage of Game 1: Nashville @ Phoenix airs tonight (Friday, April 27) at 8:30 p.m. ET. Action in the Blues-Kings series kicks offtomorrow (Saturday, April 28) with Game 1: Los Angeles @ St. Louisat 7 p.m. ET.
