Score Media Inc. today announces it will be broadcasting six live games from English Premier League side Manchester United’s pre-season tour of South Africa, Asia and Scandinavia, culminating in a showpiece match against Spanish giants FC Barcelona.

The games, which are part of United’s pre-season Tour 2012, will be shown across Canada on theScore Television Network. Live rights were secured through Score Media’s partnership with FOX International Sports Channels.

“Manchester United is one of the biggest sports brands in the world,” said Greg Sansone, Vice President Operations, Broadcasting with Score Media. “We know many of those fans are based right here in Canada, so we’re thrilled theScore is able to offer live coverage of Tour 2012 – particularly the game against FC Barcelona.”
