Rogers SportsNet Now Offers More High Definition Programming With 4 HD Channels

Rogers Sportsnet is pleased to announce that the network is now offering four high definition channels featuring Sportsnet East HD, Sportsnet Ontario HD, Sportsnet West HD and Sportsnet Pacific HD.

Sportsnet, Canada’s live event leader, now offers more hours of HD content than any other Canadian sports channel. Viewers who subscribe to all four Sportsnet HD channels can access over 240 Major League Baseball games in HD, this year alone. As well, over 50 UEFA Champions League games starting this August will be in HD. In addition, Sportsnet’s NFL package will include at least 36 games in HD.

Sportsnet also produces in-house created programming in high definition across all four Sportsnet HD channels, featuring Sportsnet Connected, MMA Connected, Jays Connected, Hockeycentral, and Soccercentral.

The following providers now offer all four Sportsnet high definition channels on a national basis, unless specified otherwise. However, please check with your local provider for availability in your area:

· Rogers Cable (All 4 HD channels in Ontario only)
· Star Choice (All 4 HD channels)
· Bell Aliant (All 4 HD channels in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario only)
· Telus (Offering HD channels for Ontario, West and Pacific only)
· Cross Country Cable (All 4 HD channels in Canning, Nova Scotia only)
