Rogers Sportsnet ONE and Rogers Sportsnet ONE HD will make its debut featuring a Barclays Premier League match between defending champion Chelsea and West Brom on Saturday, August 14 at 12 p.m. (ET)/9 a.m. (PT).

Gerry Dobson and Craig Forrest will host SoccerCentral to preview the match followed by the post-game show at 2:30 p.m. (ET)/11:30 a.m. (PT).

Sportsnet will have even more soccer action on Saturday morning with SoccerCentral previewing Wigan vs. Blackpool at 9:30 a.m. (ET)/6:30 a.m. (PT) followed by the match at 10 a.m. (ET)/7 a.m. (PT) on Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific and all four Sportsnet HD channels.

Rogers Sportsnet ONE, a new 24-hour national sports channel, will highlight the network’s BPL broadcast schedule every Saturday with a live match at 12 p.m. (ET) while Rogers Sportsnet will broadcast a live match at 10 a.m. (ET).

Chelsea captured its fourth Premier League title last season after trouncing Wigan in their final match 8-0. Chelsea’s championship season saw the club scoring 103 goals, the most in team history, and becoming the first club in English football history to score seven goals or more in a game on four occasions in a league season. West Brom’s promotion to the 2010-2011 BPL season is the club’s first since 2008-2009.

Wigan avoided relegation last season by finishing in 16th-place while Blackpool makes its very first Premier League appearance this season.
