SPACE HD to Launch July 6

SPACE fans rejoice! The most thrilling programming in the country can soon be seen on SPACE HD. Launching Wednesday, July 6 across Canada on Bell Satellite TV (Channel 1746) and Bell Fibe TV (Channel 1632), SPACE HD arrives just in time to deliver the long-awaited premiere of TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY (July 9) leading the way for all of SPACE’s first HD offerings.

SPACE HD will mirror the entire SPACE schedule. In addition to TORCHWOOD, viewers can look forward to glorious, picture-perfect HD for new episodes of OUTCASTS (in HD as of July 9), ALPHAS (July 11), FANBOY CONFESSIONAL (July 13), and more!

“SPACE fans can celebrate the long-anticipated launch of SPACE HD, one of many new Bell Media HD specialty services currently or soon-to-be on offer,” said Rick Brace, President, Specialty Channels and CTV Production, Bell Media. “We’re thrilled to start the roll-out of HD programming with the highly anticipated launch of TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY and some of the other series and movies from the channel’s engaging Summer lineup.”

SPACE HD follows the launch of MuchHD in June. It was recently announced that Discovery Channel HD will also launch soon.
