IT’S MOVIETIME! New Channel Launches Today!

With blockbuster movies seven days a week, MovieTime launches today and is primed to become the ultimate digital destination for Canadians who love movies. MovieTime provides viewers with unparalleled access to more than 250 contemporary hit movies a month, and back-to-back movies on the weekend, showcasing popular titles that celebrate the adventure essential to every great movie plot.

MovieTime’s all-new unique, fun on-air look and feel embraces the magic of the movies and complements the exciting programming line-up. All creative elements were deigned in-house by the Canwest Creative Agency.

Highlights of MovieTime’s October line-up include:

· Dumb and Dumber – Monday, October 6 at 7pm ET
Starring Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels and Lauren Holly.

· Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy – Sunday, October 12 at 9pm ET
Starring Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate and Paul Rudd.

· Thanksgiving Day Tom Cruise Marathon – Monday, October 13

o A Few Good Men at 8am and 2pm ET
Starring Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore.

o Far and Away at 11am ET
Starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

o Mission: Impossible II at 5pm and 10pm ET
Starring Tom Cruise, Dougray Scott, Thandie Newton.

o Collateral at 7:30pm ET
Starring Tom Cruise, Jaime Foxx and Jada Pinkett Smith.

· Constantine – Sunday, Oct 26 at 4:30PM and midnight ET
Starring Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz.

· Halloween Murders Marathon – October 27 to October 31*
