Investigation Discovery Turns Deadly This September

Anyone is capable of murder, and this September Investigation Discovery proves it. PORTAL TO THE UNKNOWN dives head-first into some of the stranger events in Canadian criminal and paranormal history (Sept. 8). DEADLY WOMEN returns with a new batch of murderous madams and law-breaking ladies for Season 5 (Sept. 3). Season 2 of SINS AND SECRETS investigates the effect murder has on communities (Sept. 20). The criminal cases continue with DEADLY INTENT as viewers go behind the yellow tape to get the full story (Sept. 26).

Viewers head into the PORTAL TO THE UNKNOWN with new 27-part Canadian series. This docudrama-style series retells some of the stranger events in Canadian history; dealing with ghosts, paranormal events, lost treasures and bizarre murders.

DEADLY WOMEN

Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT, beginning Sept. 3

DEADLY WOMEN returns with a bang for Season 5 of the bone-chilling series that features history’s most alluring female killers. Each episode profiles four famous cases from the past; killers and their victims are brought to life by elaborate dramatized reconstructions. The 20-part series spans four centuries and seven countries to explore the makings of these deadly women.

SINS AND SECRETS

Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT, beginning Sept. 20

This immersive true-crime series returns for Season 2 with even more SINS AND SECRETS. Each episode of the 13-part series centres around one particular crime and shows how that crime altered the community in which it occurred, revealing how the people and place have been irrevocably changed by the terrible aftermath. Cities spotlighted in the series include Aspen, Nantucket, New Orleans, Knoxville, Albuquerque and Shreveport.

DEADLY INTENT

Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT, beginning Sept. 26

DEADLY INTENT takes viewers behind the yellow tape in Season 2 of this killer series. The 10-part series follows investigators as they work to capture modern monsters, revealing that anyone is capable of murder.
