HGTV.ca and Foodnetwork.ca Offering Exclusive Online Holiday Content

This holiday season, HGTV Canada and Food Network Canada have teamed up to offer the best new and exclusive holiday entertaining content on their accompanying websites. From planning the perfect menu to original videos on everything from holiday cocktails to table décor and daily holiday tips and tricks, www.foodnetwork.ca/holidays and www.HGTV.ca/holidays are the ultimate destinations for entertaining ideas. All holiday content is now available on both sites.

For the first time in site history, HGTV.ca is whetting appetites, featuring celebrity inspired holiday related recipes courtesy of Food Network Canada. In addition to tempting the taste buds, the website is offering visitors more brand new holiday content than ever before including six new holiday craft ideas, a gift guide courtesy of well-known blogger and assistant on HGTV’s Pure Design Julia Black, six holiday décor photo galleries as well as place card setting and gift tag templates. Your home will have never looked so fantastically festive. Also, visitors can get interactive and share one-of-a-kind holiday greetings courtesy of HGTV through popular social networks Twitter and Facebook. The unique cards are available for download on the website.

“This holiday season, the HGTV and Food Network websites provide extensive information on virtually every aspect of the holidays from cooking to decorating and design,” says Christine Geddes, Director, Online Content, HGTV.ca and Foodnetwork.ca. “With a new festive design and more new holiday related content than ever, these two websites are sure to inspire and entertain.”

Foodnetwork.ca explores décor this season, featuring more than 10 brand new holiday decorating ideas including festive centerpieces, wreaths, ornaments, greeting card displays, DIY ornaments, and a decoupage gift box, among others. The site offers visitors more than 125 delectable holiday recipes, menus for entertaining, how-to recipe video clips, as well as full episodes of Jamie’s Family Christmas and special holiday themed episodes of Chef at Home, Ricardo and Friends and French Food at Home. A blog feed on the site features all holiday related blog posts, covering topics such as food related gift giving ideas, Food Network hosts’ holiday wish lists and tips, holiday food related events coverage and holiday cookbook reviews. Brand new downloads available on the site include printable greeting cards, recipe cards that can be attached to gifts or baked goods, sugar cookie stencils, and grocery shopping lists for Christmas dinner, Christmas brunch, and New Year’s Eve dinner.
