SCREAM MOVIE PREMIERES THIS FALL

A Kiss Before Dying

Social-climbing Jonathan Corliss (Matt Dillon) romances rich girl Ellen Carlsson (Sean Young) in order to get close to her powerful father, but his plans go awry when she becomes pregnant. Feeling cornered, he murders her and moves on to her twin sister, Dory, who proves to be just as vulnerable to his charms. But Dory is suspicious of Ellen’s “suicide,” and her investigation brings her closer and closer to the shocking truth. The remake of the 1956 classic thriller, A Kiss Before Dying also stars Diane Ladd and Max von Sydow.

The Usual Suspects

Full of intrigue and betrayal, SCREAM premieres the multi award-winning film The Usual Suspects. One of the most fascinating crime thrillers in cinema history, the story centers on five career criminals (played by Gabriel Byrne, Kevin Spacey, Benicio Del Toro, Kevin Pollak, and Stephen Baldwin) who meet up after being called in for a standard police line-up. Upon their release, the men band together to pull off an intricate heist of emeralds, with their success bringing them to the attention of the most nefarious and mythic crime figure ever, who wants them to pull off an important and highly dangerous job. Academy Awards® went to Spacey for Best Supporting Actor and to Christopher McQuarrie for Best Screenplay.

Silent Running

In the cult classic Silent Running, Bruce Dern stars as the caretaker of a greenhouse located on a group of space stations that are sent into orbit. The Earth has been stripped clean of foliage, and the greenhouse contains the last remaining greenery from the planet. Dern’s staff includes three human beings and a brace of endearing robots named Huey, Dewey, and Louie. When word arrives that the greenhouse is to be destroyed, Dern decides to ignore the order. He also decides to kill his more obedient shipmates and sets out for the far reaches of space with his robot companions Huey and Dewey in tow.

Deceiver

Interrogations, mind games, and murder. Tim Roth and Renee Zellweger star in this riveting psychological thriller with many shocking twists. James Wayland (Roth) is not a typical murder suspect: he’s fabulously wealthy, a Princeton graduate and has a genius-level I.Q. But Detectives Braxton (Chris Penn) and Kennesaw (Michael Rooker) sense that there’s more than meets the eye when they interrogate him for the brutal killing of a beautiful call girl. As their search for the truth takes a suddenly dangerous turn, Braxton and Kennesaw realize that Wayland is a master manipulator, cleverly using their darkest secrets against them in a lethal, winner-take-all game that ignites a powder keg of deadly motives and shocking revelations. Also starring Ellen Burstyn and Rosanna Arquette.

The Hole

The Hole is a psychological thriller about four British private school students out for adventure. When they discover an abandoned hole that looks to have been a bomb shelter in the past, they decide to host a private party, just for the four of them. Two girls, two guys, partying, alone, in a hole for three straight days…what could be better, they think. But when they accidentally get locked in the hole for sixteen days, their party suddenly turns into a horror story as they struggle to survive without enough food or water, and quickly learn that they might not come out of their adventure alive. The Hole stars Keira Knightly, Thora Birch, Desmond Harrington and Embeth Davidtz.
