Corus Entertainment’s CMT proudly applauds this year’s nominees for CMT Video of the Year at the 2009 Canadian Country Music Awards to be broadcast Monday, September 14 at 8 p.m. ET (r) 11 p.m. ET.

Garnering nominations for the CMT-sponsored award are: Tara Oram for Go To Bed Angry; Gord Bamford for Little Guy; George Canyon for Just Like You; Dean Brody’s Brothers; and A Woman Like You by Johnny Reid.

“The CCMAs is an integral event for the Canadian country music scene and we’re always excited to be a part of it here at CMT Canada,” said Ted Ellis, Vice President of Programming, CMT. “We would like to extend our congratulations to this year’s nominees, who we proudly support.”

In celebration to all the CCMA nominees, the network will air a special one-hour CCMA highlights episode at 10 p.m. ET featuring behind-the-scenes footage and winners’ reactions following the awards broadcast.

The Canadian Country Music Awards show is the grand finale of Country Music Week, which runs from September 10 – 13 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
