CosmoTV Announces Fall 2011 Programming Lineup


Corus Entertainment’s CosmoTV announced today highlights from its 2011 fall schedule, featuring fun, guilt-free pleasure programming, including new seasons of The Rachel Zoe Project and Oh So Cosmo, the new original series Love Trap and the critically acclaimed, Emmy®-winning drama series Friday Night Lights.



Premieres: Wednesday, August 24 at 8:30 p.m.
In the new original series, Love Trap, hosted by Evan Starkman (The Real World/Road Rules Challenge), viewers can tune in to real-life love stories as they unfold. In each episode, a creative plan is devised to give one secret admirer the chance to trap the object of his or her affection in order to express their true feelings. Whether it be alone in an elevator, partnered up in a sushi-making class, or participating in a fake marketing survey, this planned opportunity won’t last forever, and there’s just enough time to make a connection and maybe even go in for a kiss. In the end, the crush will be let in on the scheme and will have to decide whether or not they want to give their potential flame a shot at a real date.

The World According to Paris, follows Paris Hilton and four important women in her life as they go through ups and downs, loves gained and lost, marriages, kids, divorce and more. Viewers get to step behind-the-scenes of the Hollywood glamour, red carpets, photo shoots and fabulous parties to see Paris reveal herself as a strong woman determined to make a new life for herself. The show offers an unprecedented voyeuristic glimpse into Paris’ life as a model, singer, actress and entrepreneur running a successful fashion and style empire.

CosmoTV’s flagship series Oh So Cosmo is back for a fifth season this fall. This half-hour magazine-style TV show offers fun, fearless females entertaining stories and segments celebrating the lifestyle of hip, urban women. Hosted by sexy, irreverent Cosmo girl Josie Dye, and featuring segments from hot male correspondent Wilder Weir, and reports from Jacqui Skeete from the Oh So Cosmo editorial team, Oh So Cosmo explores fashion, men, sex and relationships with a healthy dose of fun and style.

This season, The Rachel Zoe Project is taking fashion and styling to a whole new level, capturing the incredible star power behind Zoe’s business, which is expanding to include her own exclusive clothing line. In the fourth installment of this captivating series, Zoe goes bananas as she juggles and manages her new team, clothing line and celeb clients all while preparing for motherhood.

Jerseylicious returns for a brand-new season of blowouts, spray tans and cat fights. The series continues to follow the staff of one of New Jersey’s premiere salons where business is hot and the “ex”-tensions are hotter. Season 2 is full of budding romances, growing friendships, bitter rivalries, plenty of Tracy vs. Olivia hair-raising feuds and even a new baby. Based on the bestselling memoir by Mary F. Pols, Accidently On Purpose is a comedy about newspaper film critic, Billie (Jenna Elfman), who finds herself pregnant after a one-night stand. While barely surviving a humiliating break-up with her boss, James (Grant Show), Billie has a fling with much younger boy toy Zack (Jon Foster). Once she finds out she’s accidently pregnant, the two agree to live together platonically.
