It’s been 25 years since the untimely death of Elvis and Bravo! pays homage to the idol by dedicating the month of August to this legendary star. It all starts August 1 with the world television premiere of the 16-part documentary series The Definitive Elvis. Bravo! also presents 17 classic Elvis films during two weekends in August. In addition, Bravo! will air a variety of Elvis-related programming consisting of biography profiles, tribute performances, and more.

Every Monday to Friday at 1pm & 11pm ET, beginning August 1
The Definitive Elvis consists of in-depth interviews, film clips, home movies, photos, re-enactments and recently produced location footage of many of Elvis’ homes. Each one-hour episode delves into the life of The King, intimately exploring his early career, his stint in the US army, his romances, his relationship with Priscilla, Elvis’ posse, the Memphis Mafia, The King’s current cult-status, and more. Over 200 people including family, childhood friends, managers, and mentors give personal insight into the career of the world’s most celebrated American rock icon. The Definitive Elvis premieres August 1 and airs Monday to Friday at 1pm ET with an encore presentation at 11pm ET. The series concludes Thursday, August 22.
