Dangerous, deadly, weird and bizarre – get ready to be grossed out like never before when INFESTED! makes its Canadian debut on Animal Planet. Premiering Thursday, August 11 at 9 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT, the three-part series features the nastiest of nature’s squatters, including mice, scorpions, spiders, bedbugs, rats, roaches, raccoons and snakes. If you think your four walls protect you from the ghastly rodent and insect world, think again. Meet a woman who was forced out of house and home by snakes, and check out which town was besieged by millions of mice. It’s not “easy come, easy go” for these poor people – because getting rid of these gruesome invaders can be more nightmarish than learning they’ve been crawling through your home in the first place!

INFESTED! relives the unimaginable, intimate nightmares of three families with three different types of infestations and a boatload of dread. Cameras show an up-close image of a cockroach planted on the bristles of a toothbrush and a mass of reproductive mice running through clothes, on children’s toys and around the kitchen. The hideousness is only enhanced by macro-lens photography and recreations, showing these nasty creatures up close and personal. INFESTED! is more than enough to make everyone shiver and check twice under the bed. Highlights from INFESTED! include:

INFESTED!: “Bedbugs, Rats and Scorpions”
Thursday, August 11 at 9 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT
Three families fight for their homes as they are overrun by vermin. In New Jersey, a dream home becomes a battleground as a family goes to war against an ever-growing number of bedbugs. Next, a single mother defends her home and children against an invading army of rats. And in Arizona, a family discovers their new home is a haven for deadly scorpions.

INFESTED!: “Spiders, Snakes and Ants”
Thursday, August 18 at 9 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT
Sometimes, the desire to get away from it all can bring us closer to nature than we ever planned. In Oregon, a woman is left dangerously ill after being bitten by one of the thousands of hobo spiders that have taken up residence in her new home. Then, a family in Idaho faces losing their home as a snake infestation spreads from the yard to the house. And a young family in Georgia discovers that their new home is built on top of a giant ant colony that stretches a thousand miles across the country.

INFESTED!: “Roaches, Mice and Raccoons”
Thursday, August 25 at 9 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT
A family battles against an invasion of cockroaches… the walls and floors of their apartment seething with the creatures. Also, an Australian town is threatened with extinction as millions of mice flood streets and fields, destroying everything in sight. And in Wisconsin, a family is hospitalized after the urine and excrement of invading raccoons poisons the air of their apartment building.
