“News Hour On The Road” Returns in Edmonton

Global News Edmonton will be on location once again during the month of March, bringing the News Hour team together for a continuing series of special live broadcasts.

“News Hour On The Road” will broadcast live each week beginning March 1st to March 15th from major venues and historical sites across Greater Edmonton.

Anchors Gord Steinke and Lynda Steele, meteorologist Nicola Crosbie and sports anchor John Sexmith along with the entire News Hour team will provide viewers with in-depth coverage of local issues and the day’s top stories. 630 CHED news director Bob Layton will round out the team coverage with featured live commentary.

Hot on the heels of the successful first edition of “News Hour On The Road” in September 2006 – direct from rural communities including Fort Saskatchewan, St. Albert, Leduc and Sherwood Park – this series will focus on key issues around Greater Edmonton.
