A new episode of the animated series Family Guy will air Friday, December 10 on the Global Television Network. The original episode will be preceded by a rebroadcast of a holiday-themed episode. Created by Seth McFarlane, the irreverent half-hour comedy follows the Griffins, a dysfunctional middle-class family living in New England.
In the new episode When You Wish Upon a Weinstein, Lois becomes fed up with the family’s constant money problems and Peter gets his wish for financial help when Max Weinstein comes to the rescue. After meeting Max, Peter decides Chris could be successful if he converted to Judaism, but plans for a “quickie” bar mitzvah in Las Vegas are quickly foiled by Lois. Ben Stein makes a guest voice appearance.
In the holiday episode A Very Special Family Guy Freakin’ Christmas, Peter accidentally gives all of the family presents away forcing the family to go the mall for last-minute gifts on Christmas Eve. Brian gets caught in a sticky mess with the Christmas tree and burns Lois’s dinner. Nobody is prepared when Lois goes crazy and loses her Christmas cheer. KISS make a guest voice appearance as themselves.
Back-to-back episodes of Family Guy will air Friday, December 10 on Global Television as follows:
Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia – 9pm
