Global TV Preparing New App for Tablets and Mobiles

Global TV will soon launch a new app called “Global Companion App”. This new application, operating on tablets and mobile devices is the first of its kind in Canada.

The new app will be serving as a “second screen” with bonus content like polls, quizzes, games and behind-the-scenes exclusives. While you watch TV, this content will be synced to their “second screen,” allowing you to deeply engage with the program and create an innovative TV viewing experience. Survivor will be the first series to make this content available. More details coming soon to Channel Canada.
