The month of August ends with new episodes of SAVING HOPEMIKE & MOLLYMASTERCHEFHOT IN CLEVELANDTHE LISTENER and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE on CTV.

Programming Highlights for August 14–31 on CTV include:

• Canadian football legend and current TSN broadcaster Glen Suitor guest stars as himself in an all-new episode of THE LISTENER (Aug. 15)
• Picking up from its emotional cliffhanger episode, Charlie’s (Michael Shanks) life hangs in the balance in an all-new episode of SAVING HOPE (Aug. 16)
CTV.ca hosts its first-ever live video chat with cast members of THE LISTENERduring the emotional episode that features the shocking death of a beloved main character (Aug. 22)

Tuesday, August 14
8 p.m. – HOT IN CLEVELAND – “God and Football” – NEW EPISODE
On Elka’s (Betty White) birthday, Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) takes her to the Browns football team’s locker room and ends up dating the kicker. Meanwhile, Joy (Jane Leeves) and Elka get some surprising medical news after a near-death experience.

9 p.m. – MASTERCHEF – “Top 6 Compete, Part 3” – NEW EPISODE
The remaining six home cooks compete in a high-pressure team challenge at Hollywood hot-spot, Hatfield’s. The contestants split into two teams and replicate the award-winning restaurant’s signature dishes.

Wednesday, August 15
8 p.m. – SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE – LIVE – 2 HOURS
The Top 14 finalists perform once again in a special Mia Michaels tribute before learning who will be ending their journey to be America’s favourite dancer.

10 p.m. – THE LISTENER – “Crossed” – NEW EPISODE
Toby (Craig Olejnik) starts doubting his abilities after Michelle (Lauren Lee Smith) questions the veracity of his insights during their investigation into a wealthy philanthropist’s murder. Meanwhile, Oz (Ennis Esmer) fantasizes about impossible-to-get Grey Cup tickets, but when he intercepts an emergency with football legend and TSN broadcaster Glen Suitor who guest stars as himself, his dream suddenly seems within reach.

Thursday, August 16
9 p.m. – SAVING HOPE – “Bea, Again” – NEW EPISODE
Charlie’s (Michael Shanks) ex-wife, Dawn (Michelle Nolden), has pulled the plug on his ventilator. All that’s left now is to wait for his breathing to stop. Devastated, Alex (Erica Durance) vows to stay by Charlie’s side. Meanwhile, Charlie – resisting his death – bumps into Dr. Mack MacIlreath (guest star Colm Feore, THE BORGIAS), a recently deceased colleague, who has come to help Charlie die. Alex decides to lawyer up and appeal to the Consent & Capacity Board. While the process gets started, Alex is pulled away to meet with a patient: a young woman named Bea (Rachel Cairns, WATERLOO ROAD), who Alex performed surgery on while working as a first year surgical resident under Charlie. Bea’s new symptoms help Alex make a discovery about Charlie’s coma situation.

9:30 p.m. – MIKE & MOLLY – “Bachelor/Bachelorette” – NEW EPISODE
When Mike’s (Billy Gardell) dad comes to town early for his son’s bachelor party, Peggy (Rondi Reed) decides she should attend Molly’s (Melissa McCarthy) bachelorette bash, and proceeds to turn the party upside-down.

10 p.m. – GRIMM – “The Kiss” – NEW EPISODE
Nick (David Giuntoli) joins forces with his mother (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) to take down his greatest threat yet, Mauvais Dentes (Mike Dopud). Meanwhile, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) fight against the clock to save Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch).

Tuesday, August 21
8 p.m. – HOT IN CLEVELAND – “Love in Blind” – NEW EPISODE
Victoria’s (Wendie Malick) daughter Emmy (Golden Globe® Award-nominee Jennifer Love Hewitt, GHOST WHISPERER) is back for a visit with some very surprising news, she’s engaged to Melanie’s (Valerie Bertinelli) son Will (guest star, American pop signer, Joe Jonas).

9 p.m. – MASTERCHEF – “Top 5 Compete” – NEW EPISODE
The remaining five cooks select the mystery box ingredients they will need to create a dish that best represents who they are. During the elimination challenge, the cooks have a limited amount of time to recreate one of Chicago-based chef Graham Elliot’s signature dishes.

Wednesday, August 22
8 p.m. – SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE – LIVE – 2 HOURS
The Top 10 finalists perform with a mystery SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE All-Star dancer, before learning which competitors will be ending their journey to be America’s favourite dancer.

10 p.m. – THE LISTENER – “Lockdown” – NEW EPISODE
Toby (Craig Olejnik) and the IIB race to track the source of a deadly virus before the outbreak claims any more lives. Oz (Ennis Esmer), Sandy (Tara Spencer-Nairn) and Olivia (Mylène Dinh-Robic) must contend with other patients in the hospital being affected while Michelle (Lauren Lee Smith) and Dev (Rainbow Sun Francks) pursue intelligence on the dead man in hopes to track down patient zero. 9 p.m. – SAVING HOPE – “A New Beginning”– NEW EPISODE
When Joel (Daniel Gilles) gets cold feet in the operating room, Kinney (Wendy Crewson) takes him with her on a continuing medical education assignment in her hometown to help clear his head. Meanwhile, Charlie (Michael Shanks) meets a deceased therapist who suspects it’s an emotional block that is keeping him in his coma. Encouraged by Charlie breathing on his own, Alex (Erica Durance) continues her rounds and diagnoses a fitness buff with a rare condition.

Friday, August 24
8 p.m. – CTV MOVIE – HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE (2009)
In the series’ sixth film HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe, The Lady in Black) discovers an old book that reveals the dark past of the boy who grew up to become Lord Voldemort. Meanwhile, the love bug bites the teen wizards at Hogwarts, but there is one student who remains completely aloof from the romance blossoming all around. With tragedy looming ever closer, it begins to appear as if peace will prove elusive in Hogwarts for some time to come.
