On Monday, May 2, /A\ NEWS delivers CANADA VOTES, an informative and up-to-the-minute live Federal Election Night special, on /A\ London, /A\ Windsor, /A\ Barrie and /A\ Vancouver Island . From the winners and losers in local ridings to the final call on who the country’s next Prime Minister will be, viewers can look to their trusted local reporters as they broadcast live the most important election night stories in their community.

CANADA VOTES airs on /A\ NEWS as follows:

9 p.m. ET – /A\ LONDON and /A\ WINDSOR – CANADA VOTES goes live across the region with /A\ London Anchor Dan MacLellan and /A\ Windsor Anchor Jim Crichton at the helm delivering live breaking results from 14 ridings in Southwestern Ontario. Anchor Tara Overholt hosts an “internet cafe” from London’s downtown Covent Garden Market, with non-stop social media updates.

9 p.m. ET – /A\ BARRIE – Senior Anchor Tony Grace, along with political analyst Patrick Monahan, Vice President Academic & Provost, York University, hosts Barrie’s CANADA VOTES coverage. The special covers breaking election news in all local ridings including the hotly contested battlegrounds of Simcoe-Grey and Parry Sound-Muskoka.

7 p.m. PT – /A\ BRITISH COLUMBIA – Starting at 7 p.m. PT, CANADA VOTES goes live across the region with Senior Anchor Hudson Mack with analysis by University of Victoria political science professor Dennis Pilon, delivering the latest election results from Victoria, Vancouver Island, around British Columbia and across Canada.
