The Seed family continues to grow as City delivers new digital additions to the all-new, original comedy series, premiering Monday, Feb. 4 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings). Available today, the series’ interactive new app, Seed Baby, can be downloaded free of charge for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch via the App Store or atiTunes.ca. Then, beginning Monday, Jan. 28 through to Sunday, Feb. 3, City viewers can satiate their Seed craving early with an exclusive sneak preview of the full-lengthfirst episode at Citytv.com/Seed, or by downloading the City Video app at Google Play or via the App Store.

“At the core of this series is a loveable and dysfunctional extended family, and through the Seed Baby app and exclusive online offerings, City is allowing viewers to grow their own extended Seed family week after week,” said Andrea Gagliardi, Senior Director and General Manager, Rogers Digital Media, Broadcasting. “Canadians are more connected now than ever before, and enhancing the viewing experience across multiple platforms allows fans of the show to be more than just viewers, but also participants.”

As the incubator for all things Seed, the official website, Citytv.com/Seed features the exclusive digital preview, cast bios, photos and full episodes post-broadcast, ensuring viewers never miss a moment of the Seed family fun.
Features on the Seed Baby app include:
·         “Make a Baby” – partner up with either lead characters Harry or Rose to make a brand new Seed baby, then bring the “Seedling” to life with the magic of augmented reality as it dances, plays, and gets up to no good each week. Every new episode enables Harry Jr. or Rose Jr. with a different skill. Seed baby parents can track his or her progress, snap pics to share the fun with friends and family, and create a special family album.
·         “Shots of Wisdom” – each week during the show, three new “shots” of wisdom are unlocked on this interactive viewing feature, providing fans with video tips on a variety of life events from Seed’s wise-cracking bartender Harry. After receiving tips from Harry, viewers can caption an image from the show to submit their own “shot” to be eligible to win one of three weekly prizes. Participants will also be entered into the draw for the grand prize – a trip for two to L.A. to have wings and beer with Harry.
·         Exclusive show content – fans of the series can findout more on Harry and the cast, stay current with show details, receive special messages and live content, follow the @Seed_tv Twitter account using the hashtag #SeedTV, and “like” the Seed Facebook page, Facebook.com/Seedtv.
City delivers full episodes and exciting extras from hit programming on Citytv.com, available next day, post-broadcast. Fans can also catch up on their favourite series on Rogers on Demand, Rogers Anyplace TV, and with the free City Video App for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch available on iTunes Canada. City’s premium content is also available on the City Video Mobile App for Android available at the Google Play Store.
