CBC announced an agreement with Sportsnet which will provide Canadians with an unprecedented level of coverage of upcoming international soccer events including the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™.

Under the agreement, Sportsnet officially becomes a licensed broadcaster of the 2014 FIFA World Cup BrazilTM.
This month, CBC connects Canadians to FIFA World Cup soccer as Team Canada’s first round of group play matches from the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup from Japan will be broadcast live on the network.
