S-VOX, Canada’s leading provider of programming content on spirituality, faith, personal growth and wellness, today announced the departure of Joytv 10 General Manager Terry Mahoney and Joytv 10 General Sales Manager Gary Milne.

Bill Roberts, President and CEO of S-VOX, said the positions have been eliminated to help ensure the financial sustainability of Joytv 10, a conventional over-the-air station headquartered in Surrey, British Columbia.

Managers at Joytv 10 will now report directly to senior staff at S-VOX in Toronto.

Said Mr. Roberts: “Terry Mahoney and Gary Milne are dedicated professionals who care deeply about Joytv 10, and we thank them for their contributions. S-VOX is fully invested in the continued growth and success of the station, and will move forward from here with a renewed focus on local sales and promotions.”

Mr. Roberts said local programming also remains a high priority for Joytv 10. The station’s local productions include the weekly current affairs flagship The Standard (http://thestandardtv.ca), airing Fridays at 9 p.m. PST, and the talk series P3: People, Places, Perspectives (www.p3tv.ca), airing Sunday to Thursday at 10 p.m. PST.

In 2008, S-VOX acquired and relaunched two former OMNI stations in Western Canada under the Joytv brand name. Joytv 10 serves the Vancouver, Victoria and Fraser Valley regions of B.C., while Joytv 11 serves viewers in the Winnipeg area.
