APTN acquires animated series Bro Town from New Zealand

Posted May 8, 2006

This fall, Canadians will be introduced to the crazy antics of the Morningside boys when bro¹Town premieres on APTN (Aboriginal Peoples Television Network).

A modern day fairytale about five Auckland teenagers growing up in the big, bad city, bro¹Town chronicles the schoolboy misadventures of Vale, Valea, Sione, Mack and Jeff da Maori in a proudly suburban, politically incorrect satire.

Since hitting the screens on New Zealand¹s TV3 in September 2004, bro¹Town has become a phenomenon! It has gathered thousands of local and international fans, won multiple awards and received impressive critical acclaim. The series was recently nominated for a Banff World Television Award.

Catch the Canadian premiere of bro¹Town on APTN this fall! For more information about this series, check out the website at www.brotown.co.nz. Morningside 4 life!
