OMNI Television, in partnership with L’Oréal Paris, brings audiences the glamour of Indian cinema in the original four-part series, Bollywood Star. Signing a multiplatform sponsorship agreement with OMNI Television, L’Oréal Paris will receive integration on Rogers Media’s robust suite of multiplatform assets across television, print, and digital.
Part talent search and part docu-reality series, the four-part, 60-minute program follows aspiring hopefuls on their quest to win the prize of a lifetime – a part in a Bollywood movie, and a chance at becoming the next big Bollywood star. Bollywood Star is an OMNI Television original series produced by Spinning Plates Entertainment and follows the format of the successful Bollywood Star Australia, and United Kingdom.
“Bollywood is the epitome of glamour and opulence, and partnering with premier beauty brand L’Oréal Paris is the perfect complement to this electrifying new original series,” said Madeline Ziniak, National Vice President, OMNI Television. “From the spectacle of the stage to behind-the-scenes beauty techniques, OMNI Television, along with L’Oréal Paris, takes viewers on a unique visual journey through the enticing world of Bollywood cinema.”
“As Indian cinema marks its 100th anniversary this year, L’Oréal Paris is pleased to celebrate the beauty and allure of this prestigious film community by partnering with OMNI Television to bring Bollywood Star to Canadians,” said Hugo Thibault, Communications Director, L’Oréal Paris. “L’Oréal Paris is a worldwide beauty leader with a diverse product portfolio for all women. One of Bollywood’s most beautiful and famed actresses is also one of our global beauty ambassadors – Aishwarya Rai. We look forward to lending our extensive beauty expertise to the show’s hopefuls in their journey to win this elite title.”
