CanWest MediaWorks today announced its new U.S. series for the 2005-2006 broadcast season for both the Global Television Network and CH.
The roster includes 11 new dramas including the highly anticipated Prison Break from Fox, the new Jerry Bruckheimer series, E-Ring, from Warner Bros., and the thriller Fathom, from NBC/Universal. Among the nine new comedy series are My Name is Earl, starring Jason Lee (Fox), War at Home starring Michael Rapaport (Warner Bros.), and Out of Practice starring Henry Winkler and Stockard Channing (CBS/Paramount).
“This year’s exceptional selection of new U.S. network series enables us to add significant breadth and depth to our offerings,” said Kathleen Dore, President, Radio & Television, CanWest MediaWorks. “This stellar group of innovative new series will combine with a strong roster of returning hits to propel Global and CH to a new level.”
Among the other new dramas to air this season on Global and CH are Head Cases, Reunion, Threshold, The Unit, The Gate and Bones.

Among the other new comedies to air this season on Global and CH are Old Christine with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and How I Met Your Mother.
