With the festive season fast approaching, CTV today announced its 2019 holiday programming lineup, packed with festive specials and episodes as well as new and classic movies. Joining the schedule this December are new original specials JANN ARDEN ONE NIGHT ONLY (Dec. 4) and DAVID FOSTER: OFF THE RECORD (Dec. 5), as well as back-to-back episodes of MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH (Dec. 7). Also, new this season, CTV presents the new NICK CANNON’S HIT VIRAL VIDEOS – HOLIDAYS 2019 (Dec. 16) special. Plus, the three-night holiday spectacular ELLEN’S GREATEST NIGHT OF GIVEAWAYS (Dec. 10-12) returns alongside THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW’s annual “10 Days of Giveaways,” along with THE SOCIAL YEAR IN GOSSIP 2019 (Dec. 19), ETALK: REWIND 2019 (Dec. 23), and CANADA’S WALK OF FAME AWARDS (Dec. 15).

Jann Arden headlines the new one-hour original special, JANN ARDEN ONE NIGHT ONLY. Produced by Bell Media Studios and filmed in front of a live audience, Arden takes the stage at Toronto’s The Great Hall for an evening of conversation and music, candidly discussing career, family, love, and loss as only she can. Following its broadcast premiere, the special streams on Crave beginning Friday, Dec. 6.

Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV Following its premiere at TIFF and theatrical run, the Bell Media Studios feature documentary DAVID FOSTER: OFF THE RECORD blends rare archival footage, interviews, and unprecedented access to Foster himself in an up close and personal look at the extraordinary career of a producer, composer, and entertainer who has helped sell more than a half billion records working with some of the most successful artists of all time. MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH
Back-to-Back Episodes: Saturday, Dec. 7, beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV Mary Berg rings in the season with a new special holiday episode of MARY’S KITCHEN CRUSH, “A Very Mary Holiday” (8 p.m. ET/PT). The Berg family is getting together for some post-holiday fun, so Mary repurposes holiday ingredients to elevate her leftovers including a mouth-watering pork roast with a balsamic dijon glaze, perfectly crispy parmesan potatoes, and a salad remixed with holiday roasted veggies. The episode is followed by “Book Lunch” (8:30 p.m. ET/PT), which follows Mary’s very first culinary publication, as she invites her close collaborators over for a scrumptious lunch to say thanks.
