Julie Stewart as “Ali McCormick”
As Canada’s longest-serving, current drama series, Cold Squad is proudly taking a much deserved bow, with its seventh and final season, 13 hours of gritty and intriguing detective stories. This season, Ali’s back and she has her hands full with two new rookies and a hot case-load of cold files. Joining Ali McCormick (Julie Stewart), Len Harper (Matthew Bennett), Andrew Pawlachuck (Gary Chalk) and Christine Wren (Joely Collins) is homicide detective Samantha Walters (Sonja Bennett) and Corporal Ray Chase (Tahmoh Penikett), a 27-year-old rookie, who quit law school to become a beat cop. Whether its the unsolved murder of a junkie or a real estate millionaire, Cold Squad is brought in to solve the cases that no other department can. From the death of a crusading woman trying to avenge the fate of her sister to the murder of a contestant on a televised talent show to the abduction of a sixteen year old girl, the talents and skills of the squad of detectives lead by Sergeant Ali McCormick is continually put to the test.
