Naked News TV is seeking newscasters for the Toronto area, according to a help wanted ad, which appeared this week on a job search engine.
The ad, found on Media Job Search Canada.com less than a week after the program’s CHUM TV debut, reads as follows:
“The ideal candidate should be articulate, fit and skilled in acting and/or broadcasting; must possess strong communication skills, presentation style and a sense of fun. Preference will be given to candidates with a university degree or post-secondary diploma or some acting or broadcasting experience… Foreign language is an asset. Successful candidates will earn attractive salary/benefits package commensurate with experience. Full frontal nudity is required. Prospective candidates must be at least 18 years of age.”
They are casting full-time and part-time newscasters as part of their mission to meet the growing demand for their programming. They plan to extend Naked News infotainment female and male programs in the European, South American and Asian television and Internet markets.
According to a report in today’s Ottawa Citizen, most of the applicants so far are Ryerson graduates.
Naked News TV is currently seen on Citytv and SexTV: The Channel. Toronto-based Naked Broadcasting Network Inc., a Canadian content producer under the Naked News infotainment brand, placed the ad. If you are interested, check out www.NakedNews.com. You have until March 17.
