NEW SHOWS THIS FALL:

“Chuck”
This one-hour, comedic spy thriller focuses on Chuck Bartowski, a nerdy computer tech who has a database of government secrets downloaded into his brain. Chuck soon finds himself recruited by John Casey, a veteran NSA Agent, for espionage work with his new partner (and first date in ten years) Sarah — leading Chuck to live a split life of computer geek and secret NSA missions. Starring Zachary Levi (“Less Than Perfect”), Adam Baldwin, (“My Bodyguard”), Yvonne Strzechowski (“Gone”), Sarah Lancaster (“What About Brian?”), Joshua Gomez (“Without a Trace”). “Reaper”
For the first 20 years of his life, Sam wondered why his parents went so easy on him. Whether it was school, sports or career choices, Sam’s mom and dad always let him get by with the least possible effort, while at the same time pressuring his younger brother Keith to excel. As a result, Sam skipped college, took a dead-end job and now wastes endless hours playing video games and wishing he had the guts to ask out his pretty co-worker, Andi. But everything in his slacker world changes the day Sam turns 21 and discovers his parents sold his soul to the devil before he was born. Sam must now serve as his bounty hunter for Satan, using various vessels to track down evil souls that have escaped. Initially Sam refuses to accept his fate but he realizes the grave consequences of breaking a deal with the devil. Along with his friends and his vessel of the week, Sam prepares to face his destiny as the “Reaper”. “Blood Ties”
“Blood Ties” follows the misadventures of Vicki Nelson, a feisty, attractive, 29-year old ex-cop turned private investigator with a degenerative eye disorder, who seems destined to sit on the sidelines until fate intervenes. After witnessing a terrifying murder, she finds herself on a collision course with a stranger who is also investigating the murder. He is Henry Fitzroy, a 450-year old vampire who just happens to be the bastard son of King Henry VIII. After solving the murder, Vicki finds her forays into supernatural crime are anything but over. Week after week, Vicki’s relationship with Henry draws her into baffling cases involving a terrifying pantheon of occult adversaries. Forget fraud investigations and cheating spouses – she’s squaring off against ghosts, goblins and ghouls. Vicki and Henry’s unlikely alliance soon progresses beyond a purely professional arrangement, complicating her relationship with her long-suffering ex-partner in policing and love, Detective Mike Celluci…and pretty well everything else in her life. “Terminal City”
This Gemini-nominated 10-part series looks at the modern family through twin lenses of cancer and reality television. The series seeks to uncover the truth about ourselves, emotionally and sexually, as we confront fear with comedy, adulation with loss, and life with death. Stars Maria del Mar, Gil Bellows, Katie Boland, Adam Butcher and Paul Soles who received a 2006 Gemini Award for his role.

“Across The River To Motor City”
“Across the River to Motor City” is a mystery series spanning two eras, two countries and two unforgettable characters. As an insurance investigator in 1960s Windsor and Detroit, Ben Ford weathered the storms of those tumultuous years. Four decades later, a long-buried tragedy leads his daughter Kathleen to unravel the secrets and lies at the heart of her troubled relationship with her father – secrets Ben will risk everything to keep. “Ugly Betty”
In the superficial world of high fashion, image is everything. That is until plain-Jane Betty Suarez broke the mold. Betty is a sweet, intelligent and hard-working administrative assistant, trying to build a career at Mode, one of the most famous fashion magazines in the world. Originally hired by publishing mogul Bradford Meade, he specifically hires Betty as his son’s new assistant mostly because she’s one of the few women Daniel will not sleep with. After a rocky start, Daniel and Betty form an unlikely team and take on the label-wearing sharks who will do anything to see them fail. “Men in Trees”
Relationship coach Marin Frist is a true professtional when it comes to men. She knows what to look for, what to avoid, and what will make her happy. That was until she found out her “perfect man” was cheating on her en route to a book signing in Alaska. When she gets snowed in, Marin makes the best of her small town experience, eventually deciding to stay and write her next book there…but never expecting to fall for a local. Starring Anne Heche (“Six Days, Seven Nights”, “Everwood”), Seana Kofoed, James Tupper, John Amos, Sarah Strange, Emily Bergl, Derek Richardson and Suleka Mathews. “Entourage”
In the third season of this critically acclaimed and Golden Globe-nominated hit comedy, “Entourage” continues to look at the life of Vincent (Vince) Chase, a hot young actor in Hollywood and his “entourage” from his hometown in Queens, NY: manager Eric, half-brother Drama, and friend Turtle. Loosely based on the life of Executive Producer Mark Wahlberg, the series draws on the experiences of industry insiders to depict the today’s celebrity lifestyle, as well as the difficulty of finding, and keeping love in the fast track of Los Angeles. “America’s Next Top Model”
Back for a ninth cycle, 13 young women attempt to show Supermodel Tyra Banks they have what it takes to make it in the highly competitive world of modelling. The competition is tough as the girls are put to the test with runway challenges, photo shoots and publicity skills, with one model being eliminated every week. One winner will be ultimately be crowned “America’s Next Top Model.” Hosted by Tyra Banks, with Photo Shoot Director Jay Manuel and Judge J. Alexander.

“The Bachelor”
“The Bachelor” returns for an eleventh season when a new Bachelor looks for love in this reality series that has 25 women competing for the love of one man. Each week, the field narrows as “The Bachelor” gets to know the ladies through a series of dates, handing out a rose to the ones he’d like to get to know better. As the number of roses dwindle, only one lucky lady will be chosen, leaving one question – have they found true love?

“Battlestar Galactica”
The critically acclaimed sci-fi drama returns to Citytv for a third, gripping season. At the end of the second season, the last surviving humans found themselves trying to eke out an existence on the rugged planet of New Caprica, when the Cylons invaded and occupied it. Shot in Vancouver, B.C., the series stars Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Jamie Bamber, Katee Sackhoff, James Callis and Canadian actors Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, Michael Hogan and Tahmoh Penikett.

“Pussycat Dolls: The Search for the Next Doll”
After a successful first season, “Pussycat Dolls: The Search for the Next Doll” is back to give another girl the chance of a lifetime. The girls will compete in a series of themed challenges that will test their vocals, dancing skills and personal style all in the hopes of becoming a member of the Grammy-nominated The Pussycat Dolls

“Smallville”Citytv & A-Channel
“Smallville” is back for a seventh season. Young Clark Kent deals with all the challenges, hopes and desires of any other teenager … while discovering and learning how to master his burgeoning superpowers. Clark’s life intertwines with those of Lana Lang, for whom he yearns; his friend Lex Luthor, who is destined to become his greatest nemesis; and the town itself, which is haunted by the supernatural effects of meteor fragments. “Supernatural”
In the tradition of interweaving character drama and the supernatural, a completely new kind of thrill ride takes viewers on a journey into the dark world of the unexplained in “Supernatural.” Bound by tragedy and blood to a dangerous, otherworldly mission, two brothers travel from the Colorado wilderness to the Nebraska farmlands and on to the isolated Wisconsin lakes, encountering creatures that most people believe only exist in folklore, superstition and nightmares. “Everybody Hates Chris”
Inspired and narrated by Comedian Chris Rock, this hilarious, heartwarming and edgy series is the touching story of a teenager down and out in Brooklyn, New York during the early 1980s. This responsible, resilient adolescent brings a child’s point of view to his everyday trials and traumas. “Monk” – A-Channel
