The local shows feature hyper-local news, traffic, and weather for Calgary and Vancouver audiences with in-market hosts, alongside broadly appealing entertainment and lifestyle content curated from across all BT shows.

At Breakfast Television in Calgary, new news anchor Sarah Freemark joins traffic and weather reporter Michelle Yi, and national tech expert and live-eye reporter Mike Yawney. BT Vancouver audiences wake up to familiar faces with news anchor Mary Cranston, meteorologist Russ Lacate, Thor Diakow for entertainment and traffic, and news reporter Greg Harper. BT audiences in Calgary and Vancouver will also get to know Dina Pugliese, from BT Toronto, as the host of the all-market lifestyle and entertainment segments.
In addition, Breakfast Television in Calgary and Vancouver debuts a new “L-bar” design on September 23, ensuring essential morning information such as traffic and weather are on-screen throughout the entire show and during commercial breaks to help viewers plan their day.
