Mr. Inbetween – SERIES PREMIERE

Juggling a new relationship, parental responsibilities, friendship, and a sick brother while earning a living would be difficult for anyone, but it’s particularly difficult when you’re a hitman. Ray Shoesmith (newcomer Scott Ryan) “takes care of people” – collecting debts, relieving them of drugs and guns, and often taking care of them on a permanent basis. Ray demands respect and does not tolerate anyone who doesn’t live up to his very strong and very clear code of ethics. The few he trusts – daughter Brittany (newcomer Chika Yasumura), brother Bruce (Nicholas Cassim) and best friend Gary (Justin Rosniak) – he’ll do anything for, so when Gary is set up by his own brother-in-law, Ray rips the lid off a Pandora’s box of inter-gang conflict and personal retributions. As a series of very unfortunate, very bloody, and darkly funny events play out, the bodies pile up, and Ray must avoid being one of them.

The Cool Kids – SERIES PREMIERE

THE COOL KIDS is a multi-camera comedy about a rowdy, rag-tag group of friends living in a retirement community who are willing to break every rule in order to have fun – because, at their age, what do they really have to lose?

Hank (David Allen Grier) is the leader of this motley crew, a gruff, opinionated, 21st century Archie Bunker who will go to any lengths to have a good time. His loyal, but less than helpful, friends include Charlie (Martin Mull), a bumbling wanderer who constantly goes off on tangents about some bizarre, barely believable episode from his life; and Sid (Leslie Jordan), a fun-loving hedonist with a flair for the melodramatic. Complicating matters is Margaret (Vicki Lawrence), a brash, confident woman who forces her way into their group and refuses to leave because she’s not going to take crap from anyone – especially not these three.
