The N takes a collegiate step forward as the nighttime network for teens announces the commencement of production on 13 new, hour-long episodes of The Best Years (working title), it was announced today by Sarah Tomassi Lindman, Senior Vice President, and General Manager, The N. The new drama is produced by Blueprint Entertainment in association with Canada's CanWest MediaWorks. Production has begun in Toronto and will extend through March 2007.
Global Television Network and CH Television in the West have won a total of 13 regional awards and honourable mentions combined at the 2005 Radio-Television News Directors Association of Canada Awards (RTNDA). The Global News and CH News affiliates won in each of their respective markets – Prairie Region and Pacific Region.

CH Television in Hamilton has announced that the station is going to be making changes to its local programming starting in the fall. The changes were announced at the CH Fall Launch Party on July 12, 2005.
After much back and forth on that issue, CH is finally coming to Alberta. RDTV in Red Deer will officially become CH Red Deer in the first week of September and bring CH programming to Alberta, the Calgary Herald reports today.
On May 30, 2005, CH Television named their new health reporter. MARIA HAYES. Maria will anchor the health segment"Your Health" Monday through Wednesday, as she will continue to anchor the weekend news.
Once again, another personality is leaving CH in Hamilton. It was announced on Friday, April 1st, on the news at noon that health reporter Marianne Dimain is leaving the station to go "down the highway," news anchor Connie Smith said.
CH Television will devote one full day's news programming on Tuesday, Jan. 11, beginning at 6 a.m. to raise money for tsunami relief efforts. The CH Tsunami Relief Drive will begin with CH Morning Live and wrap up with a special edition of CH News at Eleven with Nick Dixon.
CH Television in Hamilton has made some announcements regarding their personalities. CH has named crime reporter and back-up anchor Annette Hamm the new co-host of CH Morning Live, along with Bob Cowan. She will start her new position on the monrning show, Monday November 15, 2004. Also, CH has finally found a permanent news anchor after months of rotating CH staffers. The new anchor of CH News at Eleven (Mon - Fri), will be Global Television's Queen's Park Reporter Nick Dixon. Dixon will start his new duties with CH on Monday November 29, 2004.

Beginning Monday, September 13, CH Television will launch a new local programming lineup featuring a power-packed noon edition of news and a fresh and innovative program directed at young adults, ages 12-24.
