January will also mark the return of Crossing Jordan, The Next Great Chef and Vanity Insanity.

Programming Highlights: CH acquires Show Me The Money and Big Day, How I Met Your Mother on the move

CH announced that they have added 'Show Me The Money', hosted by William Shatner, to their primetime programming lineup. This new gameshow will premiere Wednesdays, November 22nd at 8pm ET/PT with a 90 minutes premiere. In december, CH will add 'Big Day', a new series that chronicles the trials and tribulations of a couple planning their wedding day. Finally, CH has moved 'How I Met Your Mother' to Mondays at 8pm ET/PT starting in december.

Production news: CanWest MediaWorks & The N announce commencement of production on a new original drama The Best Years (working title)

The N takes a collegiate step forward as the nighttime network for teens announces the commencement of production on 13 new, hour-long episodes of The Best Years (working title), it was announced today by Sarah Tomassi Lindman, Senior Vice President, and General Manager, The N. The new drama is produced by Blueprint Entertainment in association with Canada's CanWest MediaWorks. Production has begun in Toronto and will extend through March 2007.

The Global News and CH News affiliates won in each of their respective markets – Prairie Region and Pacific Region.

After much back and forth o­n that issue, CH is finally coming to Alberta. RDTV in Red Deer will officially become CH Red Deer in the first week of September and bring CH programming to Alberta, the Calgary Herald reports today.

CH Television in Hamilton has made some announcements regarding their personalities. CH has named crime reporter and back-up anchor Annette Hamm the new co-host of CH Morning Live, along with Bob Cowan. She will start her new position o­n the monrning show, Monday November 15, 2004. Also, CH has finally found a permanent news anchor after months of rotating CH staffers. The new anchor of CH News at Eleven (Mon - Fri), will be Global Television's Queen's Park Reporter Nick Dixon. Dixon will start his new duties with CH o­n Monday November 29, 2004.
