This fast-paced drama with a comedic twist, an eccentric bunch of characters, and an enduring love story which has captivated viewers all over the globe, Doc Martin attracted more than 8 million viewers when it returned for its fifth season on September 12, 2011 in the UK. | Programming Highlights: VisionTV strikes deal with BBC Worldwide |

Canada’s VisionTV has signed an extensive deal with BBC Worldwide Canada, part of the commercial arm of the BBC. The deal includes a significant amount of classic British television content that will air in 2011/12 including Fawlty Towers, one of the best-known, and most-loved, British comedy series starring John Cleese as irascible Torquay hotel owner Basil Fawlty, and Prunella Scales as his domineering wife Sybil—his “little nest of vipers”.

This election, politicians are wooing "the senior vote" realizing that 70% of Canadians 65plus vote regularly in federal elections, more than any other demographic.
