The Biography Channel is pleased to announce the launch of Bio Blast, a hot new block of programming that kicks off on Saturday, February 23. Bio Blast features the channel premiere of two reality shows, Rock of Love and The Surreal Life, followed by an hour-long biography delivering a behind-the-scenes look of individuals who have impacted music, television, film, politics, and popular culture.

| Luck of the Irish brings St. Patrick day programming |

The Biography Channel announced that it will be raising a glass to St. Paddy with programming that celebrates Irish heritage. The day long St. Patrick's Day schedule begins at 10a.m. (ET) on Sunday, March 16th and includes biographies of some of the most well-known personalities of Irish heritage such as Maureen O'Hara, Joseph P. Kennedy, Peter O'Toole and St. Patrick himself, the patron saint of Ireland.

The Biography Channel announced it will salute the 75th Anniversary of the Academy Awards* with 40 hours of previous and potential award-winner's biographies. Beginning on Friday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and ending just in time for the start of the Oscar* telecast on Sunday, March 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, The Biography Channel will air biographies of past and possible 2003 Oscar winners including Roman Polanski, Nicolas Cage, Paul Newman, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
