NBC today unveiled its new Fall lineup for the 2008-09 television season, introducing a schedule earlier than ever that combines some of the most acclaimed and popular returning series on television with four new programs that will join the schedule in the opening weeks of the season, including “Kath & Kim,” “Knight Rider,” “My Own Worst Enemy” and “Crusoe.”

NBC will enhance its current roster of critically acclaimed and creatively ambitious programs with a new 2007-08 primetime lineup that features five new dramas, one new comedy and a variety of fresh unscripted programs, complemented by a host of innovative programming moves, it was announced today at NBC's presentation to advertisers and the media at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

NBC is loading its new 2006-07 primetime schedule with six new dramas and four new comedies that accentuate distinctive talent, quality concepts and cornerstone dramas that will allow the network to play offense -- especially with its new weekend showpiece in "Sunday Night Football." NBC introduced a varied lineup of longform programs and specials for the 2005-06 season headed by such events as the seminal miniseries, "The 9/11 Project," the earthshaking miniseries sequel "10.5: Apocalypse"; a three-hour modern classic remake of "The Poseidon Adventure," a "Saturday Night Live" salute to the '80s special, telecasts of the Primetime Emmy Awards and the Golden Globes Awards, plus musical specials featuring popular artists Elton John, Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Lopez.
