This September, Corus Entertainment’s YTV welcomes Life with Boys, a new live-action comedy, to its Friday night lineup. Produced by Nelvana Studio, Life with Boys stars Torri Webster as 14 year-old Tess Foster, the only girl in a house full of boys. With the help of her best friend Allie, played by Madison Pettis (Phineas and Ferb, Cory in the House), Tess must navigate her way through the turmoil of teen life, including dealing with her overprotective dad and her overzealous, bathroom-monopolizing brothers! Life with Boys premieres Friday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Corus Entertainment’s top-rated YTV show The Next Star returns for another season (12 x 60) starting Monday, July 18 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Over 4000 Canadian kids auditioned during The Next Star’s cross-country audition tour this spring with hopes of making it into the Top 16; only 1 will be voted The Next Star and receive the grand prize package at the series’ finale on Sunday, September 25 at 7 p.m., broadcast live from Canada’s Wonderland.

Highlights include: Pound Puppies featuring the voice of Betty White and the Canadian original production Almost Naked Animals on YTV; and two exclusive Canadian premieres on Nick including T.U.F.F. Puppy starring Jerry Trainor (iCarly). Treehouse reclaims everyone’s favourite ponies with the series premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and The Adventures of Chuck and Friends based on the famous Tonka toy.

Corus Entertainment's YTV returns to the backwoods with real Survivorman Les Stroud and a new group of teens in the second season of YTV's original series Survive This. Leaving all the comforts of home, eight teens are put to the test to see if they have what it takes to make it through to the hour-long season finale. Produced by 9 Story Entertainment in association with YTV, Survive This premieres on Monday, April 19 at 7 p.m. with two back-to-back episodes, new episodes will air in the show's regular timeslot Mondays at 7:30 p.m.
