After 10 weeks of head-to-head competition, the winner of the inaugural season of Project Runway Canada will be crowned on Monday, December 17 at 9pm ET/PT in a dramatic two-hour finale special only on Slice™. Hosted by international fashion icon and legendary supermodel Iman, Project Runway Canada began with 12 talented and hungry fashion designers from across the country vying for a chance to break into the notoriously exclusive fashion industry. Faced with demanding tasks and the daily grind of living together, the designers’ wits, character, and creativity were put to the test until only three hopefuls remained.

Slice is shining a spotlight on hairstyling with the Canadian premiere of the new competition reality series Shear Genius. Hosted by award-winning actress, designer and entrepreneur Jaclyn Smith, the eight-episode reality competition series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the competitive and creative world of high-end hairstyling. Famed celebrity hairstylist and designer Sally Hershberger serves as lead judge on the series. Michael Carl, fashion director of Allure also judges and Rene Fris, accomplished stylist, serves as the salon manager to the stylists. The crop of guest judges includes styling industry greats Frederick Fekkai, Ken Paves and Jose Eber.

On march 5th, Life Network will go off the air to be replaced with a new channel called Slice. This new channel will target viewers 18-49, with a core demographic of women in their thirties. Alliance Atlantis has announce a nationwide, integrated marketing communications campaign to support the launch of their newly-branded "guilty pleasure” lifestyle TV channel. The British version of the hugely popular Project Runway gives 12 talented and hungry fashion designers the chance to see if they have what it takes to cut it in the highly competitive fashion industry. Set in fashion-forward London, England, Project Catwalk is a hip and entertaining series that will break fashion’s next big name. The series begins Monday, April 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and airs weekly in that timeslot on Life Network.

On Monday, April 11, Life Network heads behind the scenes of the infamous fashion industry in Project Runway, the first-ever reality series focusing on fashion designers. Eager to give aspiring designers a chance to break into the notoriously difficult-to-crack fashion world, supermodel Heidi Klum heads up a team of judges and industry mentors as they attempt to discover the fashion design industry’s next big talent.
